FormFrog ("we", "our", "us") operates the FormFrog form builder platform at formfrog.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using FormFrog you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address, display name, and avatar (if provided via Google OAuth). We store these to identify your account and deliver the service.
Form content and responses
We store the forms you build (fields, settings, themes) and all responses submitted to your forms. This data is associated with your account and is necessary to deliver the core service.
Usage data
We collect anonymized analytics events (page views, form views, submissions, drop-off points) to power analytics features and improve the product. We use PostHog for product analytics and Vercel Analytics for site performance metrics.
Payment information
We do not store your credit card details. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh). We receive a subscription status and customer ID from Polar to manage your plan.
Technical data
We receive your IP address with each request (used for rate limiting and security). We do not sell or use IP addresses for advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To send transactional emails (form submission notifications, account alerts)
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To provide form analytics and drop-off insights

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following trusted third-party providers only as required to operate the service:

5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We also use Vercel Analytics and PostHog for anonymized usage analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and form content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Object to certain processing of your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data. We apply rate limiting and access controls across all API endpoints. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Children's Privacy
FormFrog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of FormFrog after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
